Gig History

Four decades of booths across two cities and two hemispheres. This is the working list — the clubs, hotels and bars where I held residencies or played regular slots. Some of these rooms are gone; the dancefloors they trained are still with me.

Residencies

  • Taxim Night Park — Istanbul (1992–1994). Flagship Istanbul nightclub. Two years of weekly residencies during the city's golden club era.
  • Club 29 — Antalya (1994–1995). Summer residency on the Turkish Riviera: open-air nights, European holiday crowds, marathon sets.
  • Insenity — Sydney (1997–1998). First Sydney residency, right in the middle of the city's late-90s club boom.
  • Halikarnas — Sydney (2009–2013). My longest-running home: four years of weekly sets and a loyal, returning floor.

Sydney venues

Home — the George Street megaclub that defined Sydney's early-2000s superclub era; a room where progressive house could breathe for hours. Roxy — a classic room with a loyal house crowd. Greenwood Hotel — the North Sydney sandstone landmark, where courtyard parties ran late. Orb — underground energy, no shortcuts. World Bar — King's Cross rooms where a DJ had to work from empty floor to full house. Metro — the theatre-scale room that demands a big-room vocabulary.

Istanbul & Antalya venues

Etiler 29 — the Istanbul institution where upscale nights met serious music programming. Antalya 29 — its Riviera sibling. Cesar Hotel — hotel-club nights on the Antalya coast, tourist-heavy floors that reward tight, familiar programming. Baca Bar and Le Chapeau — Istanbul's smaller rooms, where back-to-back four-hour sets were the norm. Livingroom — lounge-to-club flow, the kind of room where a deep house selector can stretch out.

Radio booths

Power FM Club Charts — Istanbul: weekly show counting down the club charts, bridging weekend floors and weekday listeners. Wild FM — Sydney: dance radio in the city that had just become my home.

What the list doesn't show

Every venue on this page is a story: the night the power cut and the crowd sang the breakdown a cappella; the Antalya sunrise sets; the Sydney rooms that turned a new migrant into a local resident within a year. The full versions of those stories live on the My Story page — give it a read.
