Gecce Club Event

My latest project runs through GECCE — Sydney's Turkish club events night, where the city's finest Turkish DJs share one roof. It's the natural meeting point of my two worlds: four decades of house music behind the decks, and the Turkish musical roots I brought with me from Istanbul.
What GECCE is
GECCE brings Turkish club culture to Sydney's nightlife — nights built on Turkish House, Afro House, Turkish Pop and Turkish Rock, hosted across Sydney venues with a crowd that comes to dance, not to stand around. Think of it as the energy of a Taxim Night Park summer, translated into Sydney's club language.
What I bring to the floor
On GECCE nights my sets stretch across the whole spectrum: deep and progressive house for the build, Turkish pop classics re-worked for the dancefloor, Afro house grooves, and the occasional Turkish rock cut that turns the room into a choir. Forty years of reading rooms — Istanbul to Antalya to Sydney — all get used in a single night.
Where and when
Upcoming GECCE parties, line-ups and ticket links are announced on the official site — that's the single source of truth for dates and venues:

Why this project matters to me
Forty years ago I was beat matching Turkish pop edits for Istanbul floors; tonight I'm doing it in Sydney for a crowd that sings every word. That circle closing — the sounds of home, played at home, in my adopted city — is what GECCE nights are about. Come stand in that circle with us.
